In the last several years, Zope development has focused on providing the pieces of the framework as a stack of modular pluggable components that can be used by other projects. This effort was undertaken with the philosophy that making Zope technologies relevant outside of Zope space is a win win situation.

An important part of the underlying technology in Plone is the Zope Component Architecture (ZCA). This presentation will cover Interfaces, which is a core aspect of the ZCA. In line with trends in Zope development, the presentation will focus on Interfaces as a reusable component in Python.

For November, 2009, Python guru Jim Pharis will present at our PloneNYC meetup on Thursday, November 12th, at 7pm at our usual mid-town location.

Please RSVP now and get the word out.
