APS Healthcare has an immediate opening for a Senior Software Engineer. The individual must be a team player that designs, develops and implements Zope/Python Web applications. Must have demonstrated experience with designing Web applications using Zope/Python. Preference will be given to candidates that have further experience integrating RDBM systems with Zope.
The Senior Engineer will interact with appropriate business units and customers to determine the business needs for the application. Has to have the ability to work with the different technical and business teams. Must be able to document business needs for communicating requirements appropriately. Must be comfortable working in a team setting.

Education:

Requires a Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree.

Requirements:

Requires at least 4+ years of Zope/Python experience.
At least 3+ years of SQL design and development experience.
Experience with a version control system such as Subversion.
Proficiency in Zope/Python related to technologies such as Zeo, Apache and Zope+RDBMS.
Candidate should also demonstrate proficiency in SQL Server related tasks such as stored procedures, Transact-SQL and index tuning for performance.
Experience with MS BI concepts and tools related to Microsoft SQL 2005 are a plus.
Experience with IT Healthcare is a plus.
Experience with web services and Ajax development is a plus.
